Thoughts on 90 Day Fiancé season 12, episode 3

Time to meet a new couple!

  1. GAH! SO SCARY, MALLORIE!
  2. Hrmmm I don't think Rasit is going to like the US for a LOT of reasons
  3. "No comment" is a BOLD response, Mido
  4. Uh, Debby, it does sound like Mido did NOT get on that plane
  5. I love Little Bit
  6. Hi, Paula!
  7. Okay, Paula is definitely quirky both because the favorite item in her miniature collection is a toilet with poop in it, but because she believes these miniatures manifest good things
  8. Huh so Paula and Tom met when Paula was on vacation in the US (a rarity for the 90 Day franchise)
  9. Have Tom and Paula talked about how to combine their lives and styles? Cause they seem pretty different
  10. Tom, telling Paula to take only one bag is silly
  11. Oof seems like Marissa's family might be difficult
  12. Mallorie does get some points for learning at least a touch of Turkish
  13. YIKES! I'M SO SORRY, RASIT!
  14. Rasit, here's a wild idea: talk to Mallorie about financial expectations before you move to the US?
  15. Shea, rice can be bland just like potatoes can be bland, but both can also be tasty!
  16. Anabelle, you don't need to hug the kids right away...like this is a weird situation for them (like, don't forget the camera crew!)
  17. I don't think Shea's is too messy, but if Anabelle is allergic to dogs, I can believe that there is far too much dog hair (and dander)
  18. Sorry, Tom, did you make cake with beef tallow knowing that Paula couldn't eat it?
  19. Tom, cooking for Paula is a good idea, but I just don't know if your food is gonna transport well to the airport (also, did you confirm those beans didn't use any animal products?
  20. Wait, Tom, when did Paula say she'd try and write her tiny stuff off as a business expense?
  21. Aw yeah, Rasit is really going to miss his family
  22. I am honestly surprised that Mido is here
  23. So Mido's example of acting is just famous quotes from US movies
  24. Marrisa...the key is just symbolic?
  25. Edward is cute
  26. How did Anabelle not see the four deer right away?!
  27. Allison is not a fan that her dad got Anabelle gifts
  28. Allison, it's weird that you would think you'd be in competition with Anabelle
  29. I don't think Shea helping his daughter (who is a single mom of two) out with free rent isn't a bad thing, but I do recognize that a) Anabelle was raised in a different culture and b) Allison was definitely asking for money from Shea in front of Anabelle as a demonstration of power
  30. So, yes, Rasit could've brought this up earlier, but also, Mallorie, Rasit's parents live in a tent...
  31. Next time Paula sees Tom's apartment for the first time and they have tension right away
  32. Next time Rasit and Mallorie land in the US and I immediately get nervous about her friends
  33. Next time Aisha meets with her friend who is a prophetess
  34. Next time Mido and Debby are unhappy right away
  35. Next time Shea's friend says straight up that folks think Anabelle is a mail order bride

15 facts I learned from a random Wikipedia article

Original prompt: click on "Random Wikipedia Article" and write about whatever comes up (you can try 3 times and pick your favorite). For the record, I got Alejandro Estivill , Fencing at the 2011 Pan American Games – Women's épée , and Benjamin F. Jonas . I chose Benjamin F. Jonas because it was the longest of the three entries and it had a photo. He was born in Kentucky, moved to Illinois as a kid, and went to college and spent the rest of his life in Louisiana Jonas's father was a merchant and lawyer His father knew Lincoln (like they were real buds) Despite this, Jonas sided with the confederacy Not only did he side with the confederacy, but he joined the Confederate army and rose to the rank of major He went to University of Louisiana (now Tulane) Jonas was Jewish (I didn't know there were Jewish senators who served the Confederacy) He was the second Jewish U.S. Senator from Louisiana and the third Jewish Senator overall Jonas was the first Ashkenazi Jewish US...

Origin story or first issue of a superhero whose super power is geometry

Arya sat in history class and was bored. She longed to get to geometry, where things made more sense. She liked geometry so much that she had joined the math team to be able to do it more. Okay, there was also the extra time with her friends who loved math as much as she did, but some of the appeal was just the math itself. Finally the bell rang and Arya had four minutes to get to her geometry class. She passed right by the chemistry class next door where her least favorite teacher was conducting experiments. He needed to be more careful, thought Arya. The teacher had once exploded a glass beaker and not on purpose. Arya took her seat and excitedly pulled out her notebook. It was her favorite color: hot pink. She assigned her notebook and folder colors in ways that felt right to her. And since geometry was her favorite subject, she made her notebook and folder for it her favorite color. As the teacher started to go over the most common mistakes from the last quiz, Arya could've swo...

Color palette

Original prompt: "Google "color palette," pick one, and write something inspired by it." I actually Googled "color palette public domain" to be sure I could use it and found the image on this post. I used the "floral" section for my inspiraiton. The soft sunlight somehow didn't dim the shine of the fireflies. Such it was in the fae realm. Fern loved this time of day in the faewild where it wasn't quite day, but it was far from night. Fern frolicked alone in the glade as she was want to do. It didn't matter to her that her laughter carried itself alone on the breeze; she was content. She wasn't sure how long she'd been alone as she watched the suns begin to set, but it was pleasant in its own way. But then, she heard a noise. It wasn't the noise of leaves on the wind or twigs snapping from some comforting creature. It was the noise of someone approaching with grim determination. Fern wasn't sure how to ready herself to ...
